Small Haul! Zara, TKMaxx, Superdrug etc

This is a really teeny-weeny-tiny, small haul, as I went shopping on Saturday with the intention of buying more things so I could haul them all in a video. However there wasn't really a lot of things that appealed to me as such, but the things that did appeal to me; I will be showing and briefly reviewing in this blog post.
I won't be hauling these products in a video any time soon, as I don't think there's enough for a video, but you can expect to see them in upcoming lookbook or make-up tutorial! Instead of blabbing and boring you all, I think I should just get started.

So, the first place I went to was TKMaxx as it is such a wonderful place filled with hidden gems and wonders - from bits of high-end make-up to the most unique clothing pieces.
I only bought one item from there, but it's definitely my favourite of them all...
I've been looking for something like this for a long time, and I've been eye-ing it up online retailing for approximately ten times the price I paid.

It's just a beautiful little white cami with daisy lining. I bought it in a size medium so that I can wear it over a black bikini in the summer or perhaps even a Tiffany blue coloured one, either way I think it will look lovely with tanned skin and it'll be great for Summer as it is sheer and light-weight.

This little beauty only cost me £9.99 which is such a steal, and I think I might have to go back to TKMaxx for the black version of this too...

The next place I went to is Zara, I love Zara because it sells good-quality basic pieces at affordable prices. Their pieces are very minimalistic and pretty, but during this trip nothing really caught my eye - and if it did, it wasn't available in my size.

I did try on two pairs of jeans though, the first pair was a light wash denim, however as soon as I put them on, I realised that they were flared - and if you know me, you know I will not wear flared jeans. The next pair however, were lovely and fit beautifully, but they unfortunately had a faulty zip, and it just-so happen to be the very last pair in my size. So I had to make do without any jeans.. :( sad face, I shouldn't be complaining, considering I own a rather embarassing ammount of jeans - since they're practically all I wear.

The only thing I did buy from Zara is this really soft grey t-shirt.

Suprisingly, I didn't have a plain grey t-shirt, so I thought this was the right time to buy one.
I also bought this in a Medium, so that it could be more loose-fitting.. I happen to do this often with t-shirts and tops, because I don't particularly like being suffocated. It does have a sort-of high-low hemline, but it's just a staple piece of clothing that is needed in every girls' closet. I think the best way of wearing these is with a pair of skin-tight jeans and a flannel tied arround your waist. I can't remember the price of this, but I'm sure that it was very in-expensive.

I actually intended to go to Primark for socks, because I find that I lose them very quickly.
Luckilly, Primark offer a wide range of them for prices cheap as chips. So instead of paying the outrageous ammounts that I often pay for Topshop socks (which I end up losing, before I even get to wear them) I opted for Primarni to deck me out with some snazzy socks. (Not really, they're solid pink-toned colours, not Typical Nessa or anything). These were only £2.50 for 7 PAIRS OF SOCKS!

*I only wear bright coloured socks arround the house, or to the gym*

For the make-up bits, I decided to just get the things that I really, really wanted, considering I have so much of it, and I still need to find a cute way of storing it all...
I ended up buying two MUA Eyeshadow Palletes (if you know me, you know I'm a sucker for MUA), also a concealer, and a Revlon Lip butter.

The first pallette is the MUA - Heaven and Earth. It consists of brown, earthy tones, with a few hints of gold and champagne. These shadows are very shimmery and pigmented and they are quite neutral, so they can be worn on an every-day basis.

The next pallette I bought is the MUA - Matte. It also has very neutral every-day shades - but combined with the colours from the Heaven and Earth pallette, they have the potential of creating a gorgeous smokey-eye. My favourite shades are the dark brown and the pale pink.

If you would like me to review these pallettes in a seperate post or video, please let me know as I'd be more than happy to do that; including swatches.

Another thing I bought with the intention is the NYC concealer, I was basically in desperate need of a new concealer, since my favourite has been discontinued, so I opted for one of the cheapest solutions, resulting in my disappointment. I'm not a huge fan of this concealer, it doesn't do anything special for me, and it feels quite heavy on my skin and doesn't really give good coverage. I don't recommend this product at all, If I'm being honest. So I might just have to use it as an eye-shadow base.
If you have any recommendations for a good concealer, please let me know!

Last, but certainly not least; I bought a Revlon lip butter in the shade ''Sugar Frosting''.
I've tried these before and I absolutely love them.
I was in need of a sheer/light lip colour, as most of my lip products are brightly coloured. I really like how this lip butter feels on my lips, since it is so moisturizing.
It has quite sheer pigmentation, so it only gives my lips a slight tint, which I must say; I do like, and I think it will be great for Spring and Summer as it is quite long lasting!

I did also buy a pair of shoes and some underwear, but I'm NOT going to show you those..
That being said, I appologize for this being so short and for not uploading a video last week!
You can expect a video during the weekend, but yeah I guess that's it! Leave me suggestions for future posts and videos in the comments, or simply use my links to follow my social media and become my friend!
